Nashville TIPL Climate Vigil

December 14, 2015 by trpadmin

Nashville TIPL Climate VigilNearly 200 people gathered for a Candlelight Climate Vigil on the evening of December 3 at Belmont United Methodist Church in Nashville to witness for a strong climate protection agreement at the Paris Climate Talks. Clergy from various faith traditions led a prayer service in the sanctuary. Those gathered then lit candles and proceeded outdoors for a silent witness on the street of Hillsboro Village. Immediately prior to the vigil there was a live webcast update from four people from Nashville who were at the talks in Paris.
