Knoxville TIPL Donates Carbon Tithes to (En)lighten Thanksgiving Baskets

December 15, 2018 by Louise Gorenflo

Knoxville TIPL and several individuals donated their carbon tithes to purchase 500 packages of four LED light bulbs for inclusion in the Thanksgiving Baskets distributed by churches in East Knoxville. Shown in the picture are Rev. John Butler of the Knoxville Inter-Christian Ministerial Association social action committee and Jennifer Alldredge, KIPL president. KIPL and individuals donated these funds to offset the damages caused by their carbon emissions.
