TIPL responds to climate change through upholding the sacredness of all life, protection of vulnerable communities, and caring for the Earth. We witness our spiritual values by reducing our carbon emissions within our daily lives, releasing the spiritual power of our faith communities, and by advocating effective climate protection policies.
TIPL has two kinds of membership: one for individuals and one for faith communities.
Individual Membership
Individual members pledge to support the mission of TIPL and to stand with TIPL in support of effective Earth / life protection policies.
In return, TIPL connects members with resources to learn more about sustainable living practices and offers opportunities to stand witness for effective Earth / life protection policies in regional events.
Joining TIPL is simple: Use the “SIGN UP” button to contribute online or mail a check made to SACE (Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, our financial sponsor) and put TIPL in the memo field.

Faith Community Partnership
TIPL has two levels of Faith Community Partnership: one for a committee or group within your congregation and another for the entire faith community.
Faith Community Partners pledge to support the mission of TIPL and to
- Stand with TIPL in support of effective Earth / life protection policies
- Identify a contact to help spread the word of TIPL activities through our regular communications.
In return, TIPL will
- Connect faith partners with resources to learn more about sustainable living practices,
- Offer opportunities to witness support for effective Earth / life protection policies.
At this time, TIPL has no monetary partnership dues. We ask of you your time, talent, and resources. What can you offer?
