Cool Congregations and Climate Resilience:
Preparing Faith Communities for Climate Change
Through Energy Efficiency and Resilience Measures

Hot summers threaten the health of the elderly and other vulnerable populations. They also lead to increased energy bills for our congregations. This is just one example of how a changing climate impacts us. We need to respond by both reducing our carbon impact and by becoming more resilient as communities.

Tennessee Interfaith Power and Light and Brugmansia Ministries are working together to help faith communities prepare for the impacts of climate change through energy efficiency and climate resilience measures, using the Cool Congregations Program from Interfaith Power and Light. Join us to learn about climate impacts to Tennessee, some concrete actions your faith community can take to be better prepared for climate change, and how your faith community can participate in the Cool Congregations program!

We are hosting three identical Cool Congregation Workshops:

  • Register for Tuesday, August 16 at 2 pm ET
  • Register for Saturday, August 20 at 10 am ET
  • Register for Thursday, September 1 at 7:30 ET

Please considering joining us. Register by using one of the links above.
