Ask TVA to Keep the Lights On

May 1, 2020 by trpadmin

Join us telling TVA to keep the lights on during the COVID-19 pandemic by sending the Board of Directors a comment today!

Petition Comment Form Here

TVA’s local power companies have not been ordered to stop electricity shut offs during the pandemic. As a result, many residents have lost or are at risk of losing their electricity services. It’s critical that TVA eliminate this risk by issuing a moratorium on utility shut offs at its 154 local power companies! TVA can also support local power companies with addressing the costs of unpaid utility bills by suspending the recent “Grid Access Charge” and lowering wholesale rates during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please tell TVA to take these critical steps by submitting your comment online no later than May 5th!
